Darren and Nikesh were on BBC Asian. It was really good talking to Darren the other day about the use of the word “Asian” and how the term is not terribly useful to those of South Asian descent, due to communities coming together due to religion and language. We talked about how “Asian” is used in the acting industry and how if you it *just* means people who look Indian. Conversely, East Asian means people who look Chinese. I understand how this goes uninterrogated.
