Those distressed by the media machine, I’d love to hear from you. Where do you read your news and how you stay informed and sane?
Folks might be interested in Positive News, and Byline Festival for independent journalism and freedom of speech. I also hear there is an app which tells you where on the scale of Left to Right the article is from. Obvs this is decided by someone, but maybe better to have some heads up. This is what I mean by practical moves. Thanks. (If anyone needs a discount code for Byline, email me). I also recommend Lenny Letters via email and the second half of the second season of Chelsea Handler for short, snappy interviews with people who are fighting for social change. (Please do not write to me about white feminism and how I can consume anything that has touched Lena Dunham or Chelsea Handler. Thanks.)
